Detox Your Morning With This Breakfast Bowl & Smoothie Recipe

Folks, breakfast is my favourite meal of the day. No joke, I’m that person who literally looks forward to breakfast when I’m in bed the night before!

While my go-to on busy mornings is usually just toast, coffee and a banana, I’ve been pushing myself to wake up 30 minutes earlier and make a proper nutritious and wholesome breakfast.

If you’re looking to switch things up, look no further. Our friends over at NutMeg Mylk recently launched their latest mylk, The Detox, made with charcoal, rose and coconut! Below, NutMeg Mylk’s Megan Wallace has shared a powerhouse breakfast duo that’s guaranteed to transform your morning and detox your body.

Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients:
-I package of quick flax oats from Nature’s Way (you can also use quick oats!).
-1/2 cup of The Detox
-Fresh berries of your choice
-A dollop of Yoggu original coconut yoghurt
-Granola or hemp hearts
Procedure:
1. Let oatmeal cook for 3 mins in boiled water.
2. Top with 1/2 cup of The Detox
3. Add Yoggu original coconut yoghurt
4. Garnish with granola, hemp hearts
5. Serve in your favourite bowl and enjoy!

 

Detox Smoothie

Ingredients:

-1 cup of The Detox
-1 handful of spinach or 1 teaspoon of Greens powder
-1 teaspoon chlorhella or spirulina
-1 cup frozen blueberries
-1/2 banana
-Vanilla protein of choice

Instructions:

Super easy! Mix ’em all together, blend on high and add water if too thick.
